Barion Hotel & Congressi

The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is delicious, offering a wide variety of foods: fresh vegetables and fruits, an extensive assortment of different, high quality cakes (like from a good pastry shop), of which a lot are not just loads, but even cream cakes (delicious!). The only downer was, that there were not many vegan options (also no milk alternatives, which in 2025 should be there in a 4 star hotel). Parking on site is for free, you have a small fridge, but the place is kind of very remote from Bari itself. With a car, I can still recommend it very well! The breakfast on the roof terrace is amazing, incredible view!

I would first like to compliment the hotel for the warm welcome, the well-maintained spaces, and the excellent services offered. I particularly appreciated the breakfast, which featured a wide selection of typical local products, clearly chosen with great attention to quality. They also offer a generous assortment of cakes, which was a real highlight. The rooms are very clean, with furnishings that are a bit dated but still perfectly functional and comfortable. The location is perfect if you're traveling by car—just 20 minutes from the old town of Bari and conveniently situated on the main road leading to popular tourist destinations such as Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, and others.

The hotel is easily accessible by car, located right next to the highway. Fortunately, the traffic noise doesn’t reach the rooms. For breakfast, only the pastries are any good — the rest is a disgrace to Italian cuisine. The bathroom is moldy. The beds are comfortable, and overall the place is clean. Parking is available, which is an advantage compared to other hotels. The staff is friendly and helpful.
