We stayed here on our way back from Great ocean road to Melbourne. There was no accommodation available in the Great ocean road route. Therefore, we had to detour from Apollo bay. I feel this happened for good,as we were able to explore a new old town. It had it's own charm. Baronga Motor Inn, rooms were really cosy and gave a dormitory feeling. Good for families with 2-3 kids,as there was one master room and one room with three individual beds. The service was good. We had a issue with the tap, and someone came up immediately to look at it.
A great find for an overnight sleep. Close to Lorne and nicely located with nearby by supermarket and servos. Highly value for money and super helpful to secure a couple of hours before checking in. Rooms are clean and spacious. Interior furnishings are alright for the price. The AC was a bit noisy with one High fan mode, we used that to heat the rooms. The inn has public BBQ and swimming pool, which would be nice to use in warmer months. Check in was super fast and easy, similar to the check out. Staff are friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend this as we did for our trip to the 12 Apostle from Eastern Melbourne.
Didn't see a human. Utilitarian room with the old fashioned breakfast chute. Good for a night
