I brought my wife here for a surprise getaway on the weekend and it was beautiful! Laurene was the perfect host and the room had everything we needed. Speaking of the room (We stayed in the Tara-Jane), it was beautifully designed and extremely clean, certainly every bit as good as the photos. Another great thing is that Barooga is so close to the waterfront, where there is a range of cafe's and restaurants. Even though you feel the privacy of the B&B, it is only a quick walk to get to almost anything you want. I hope we have the chance to stay again!
Barooga on Pier is a must stay when visiting Hervery Bay. Amazing room and amazing owners to top it off. They made us feel so welcome, and were more than accomidating. They will be our home away from home on our trips there.
Very friendly owners. We could check-in early and room was spacious and clean. Parking lot available. Last star is missing because of a) noisy AC which is placed directly above the bed and b) very limited privacy of the toilet with basically no seperation. I would come back.
