Barry Memle Lake Side Resort

We had a great stay with our teenagers at this family-run hotel. With direct access to the lake, it provides a calm setting and a great choice of activities for all ages. The team is wonderful and attentive, and the lively, charming centre of Velden is just a short walk away.

We had an amazing stay at Barry Memle in Velden, Austria! The ladies at the reception were the nicest and most welcoming people we’ve ever met. Breakfasts were fantastic, with a stunning view of the lake and mountains — simply unforgettable. The rooms were spacious with super comfortable beds, and the showers had excellent water pressure — perfect even for washing thick hair! The owner was absolutely wonderful, very kind and communicative. We highly, highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be coming back!

Best value for money accommodation in Carinthia! Really kind staff and great breakfast! The rooms very clean and modern, they are actually fully equipped apartments with kitchen, large balcony and fantastic view to the lake! I can just recommend!
