Barry's Beach Resort

We spent about ten nights at Berry’s Camp. The camp itself is clean; it has an ablution block with a sink. There was lukewarm water from the borehole with strong pressure. Each campsite is equipped with a lapa. Two of the four camping grounds have lights. A power point is available. There were no braai stands or kitchen units; however, I think it was a really good place for overlanders. The ocean is swimmable at high tide. The beach was secluded. The pool was clean and well maintained. Sunbeds were available. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Ahh so many sweet memories I've had at this place. Barry and his team were very welcoming. They had a hot dinner ready for us at 2am when we arrived! And the food was delicious and generous throughout our stay. I still remember the brownie I had for dessert on our last night - one of the most delicious, decadent brownies I've ever had, even after traveling many places around the world. This a place for complete serenity and relaxation. The place is also very secure and private, you can completely relax on the beach at night with no worries. I wish Barry and his team well and hope to taste again those fluffy pancakes 🥞 with maple syrup!
