Basanta Convention

We stayed one night here during our road trip from Bangalore to Kolkata and had a great experience. The hospitality was excellent — right from booking via WhatsApp to a smooth and hassle-free checkout. We chose the three-bedroom option, which was spacious and well-furnished with wardrobes and all basic necessities. The attached washroom was slightly small but very clean and didn’t have any unpleasant odors. The dinner and complimentary breakfast were both delicious. The reception staff even helped arrange a paid car wash on request, which was a nice touch. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay — would definitely recommend and revisit!

Spacious venue . But the staff are really unethical regarding payment issues. They couldn’t even wait for the wedding to end and started asking for rest of the payment even before the bride has entered the venue .

Hi Visitors, I am here with a new review on the Basanta Convention, Balasore. 📜 Information : ⛳ The location is a little bit outside the town but it is peaceful. 🏕️ It is an all-in-one place for marriage parties, meetings, room stays etc. 🚘 Huge parking space available for two wheelers and four wheelers. 🤵🏻 The staff is polite, friendly and responsive. 🥘 In-built restaurant also available here for your parties or if you are staying here don't worry about food. 🧳 My check-in and check-out was very smooth. The manager was very cooperative. ⛺ The room was clean and hygienic. Perfect space for all types of visitors. 🏡 I had booked a Budget double bed room online. When I reached the Manager said my room was occupied due to some problem and he gave me an Executive deluxe room without any extra charges. It proves how they care about hospitality seriously. 💬 You can call the manager over the phone from the Google map or chat with them. The chat response was too fast and Chinmay Behera was very supportive. 🥘 Their food quality was awesome and the price was affordable. You can customise the food according to your requirements like spicy or not, more gravy etc. 🥗🍗 Both Veg and Non-veg foods are allowed here. I have tried Veg items this time and my experience was superb. 👩‍❤️‍👨 This place is couple friendly. Unmarried couples are allowed with valid ID proofs. 🌐 It has own internet facility. So you will get good Wifi network in your room. 💳 Payment method - Cash, Card & UPI I have only room images. I forgot to take pictures of the exterior.
