Imagine how good is this hotel that the first thing I am doing just 15 minutes after checking in is to leave a 5-star review! Upon arrival the receptionist gave us a very friendly and warm welcoming. She then immediately assisted us with the check in and explained all the important details for our stay. The room was ready 2h before check in time which was an immediate win for us! We were also provided with free public transportation for Vevey-Montreux and went out of her way to give us recommendations! The hotel is very well located near but not too near the train station and just 5 minutes walk away from the lake. Near the hotel you have a big shopping center and different commerces. We booked the standard room and were surprised by how bright and spacious it was and all the details it had! AC, fully equipped kitchen, DISHWASHER!, slippers, bath robes, etc We came from staying in different hotels in other cities, some of them being more “luxurious” and yet not having half of the stuff Base Hotel has! We immediately regretted not getting an even better room and more nights just to enjoy the hotel and room facilities! We will definitely stay here when traveling to Vevey again and will check their other locations across Switzerland! Big thank you
Great little hotel! convenient from the train station, perfectly furnished rooms and very comfortable beds and pillows. Even smallest room has plenty of space. Great shower too. Easy check-in and out, super clean! Friendly welcome. 100% satisfied.
Loved this hotel for a short trip to Vevey for work. Very spacious rooms, clean and airy. Rooms come with a very well equipped kitchen as well, there is even a dishwasher in the room. They have a gym, a sauna, a bar, meeting rooms and a rooftop terrace open to guests. The staff at reception is really helpful and friendly and made our stay really comfortable, especially when we needed some adapters for the plugs and a place to leave our bags for a few hours. The hotel is very close to the town centre, the lake and the train station so it was easy to get everywhere on foot from there. Will definitely stay again.
