Beautiful hotel in a great location! Easy to walk to so many great bars, restaurants and sights. The room itself is pretty, comfortable and nice. Only complaint on the room is the lack of a mini fridge for leftovers or drinks. The issue I had is the staff attentiveness and the sprawl of the hotel… I found it challenging when I would call the front desk and get put on hold immediately and then left there for 5+ minutes. There just seemed to be a lack of urgency in helping guests in general from my check in to seeing another guest having card issues. And then the rooms are broken up over buildings, so not all buildings have the same amenities. If I wanted ice (for my drinks … because again, no fridge), I either had to get room service to bring it or go across the street over to the main building. Which is fine I guess, but it just felt like so much trouble for something small (and that was in my room as if I should have access to it. Why have the bucket if there’s no way to get it???). Just very strange for a hotel of this caliber to have these issues IMO

The location was great. The rooms were really big. However, the lack of a refrigerator in the room in 2025 is surprising. We were lucky that there was one available when we requested one. We didn't have air conditioning for most of the time we were there. The pillows were flimsy, and my husband and I both left with neck issues. The food choices in the restaurant were limited, not particularly good, and the restaurant itself was not well-kept. The room had peeling wallpaper. The staff members at the front desk were not particularly helpful. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning the room.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The location was decent and convenient for our plans, and we truly appreciated the complimentary room upgrade. The room itself was spacious and comfortable in terms of layout. However, several issues affected the overall quality of our stay. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly, and the showers had issues as well, which was frustrating. Amenities were quite average, and the room carpet felt old and worn. As pet owners, we were particularly disappointed by the very high pet fees, especially given there was no designated area on the premises for walking or relieving our dog. For the cost, we expected a more accommodating and thoughtful experience. Unfortunately, the overall value didn’t match the price we paid. While there were some positives, we don’t feel the experience justified the cost.
