Baumgartner's Blumenhotel

We've been going to the Blumenhotel for 6 years every summer, and we love the place. The location of the Hotel and the view is amazing. The staff and service are always kind and top professionals. Lastly, the food is a highlight for us and it is always very creative and tastes amazing so definitly a highlight.

Beautiful place, beautiful people, beautiful food :) It was my husband's birthday when we visited the hotel. From the registration details, the hotel noticed and made a special effort with decorating our table. It made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you

We stayed at Baumgartner's Blumenhotel for two nights on August 15th with our dog (a 3-kg miniature poodle). The hotel advertises itself as "pet-friendly," but the reality is quite different: dogs are not allowed in any common areas, neither the restaurant nor the garden. Despite the €15 per day charge for the dog, no amenities are offered (no bowl, no dedicated dog boarding, no opportunity to stay with us during meals). On the first day, I at least tried to have a coffee with my dog, but the staff rudely and literally kicked me out of the room. This made the experience even more unpleasant. We had also booked two dinners (€40 per person, total €160), but we were forced to cancel because we were not allowed to have our dog with us. No refund was given, with the excuse that Booking.com would have to cover the cost. To try at least a little relaxation, we wanted to book two massages at the spa, but for both days we were told it wasn't possible, with no flexibility or customer service. The only positive note: the rooms, renovated and clean. Otherwise, services were nonexistent, the spa only opens at 3:00 PM, and the staff was rude and unhelpful. There are hotels in town that offer much more for the same price and with a much better welcome. ➡️ In short: a disappointing stay in every way. Avoid.
