A great hotel! Quiet and great view not near the beach though!!!

Nice swimming pool, clean rooms, but don't book a room on high floors - there is a very noisy night club on the roof :-/

This hotel is old and it shows. The pool has too much chlorine in the water and is not cleaned. The water actually tastes acidic. The blow up toys have mould growing on them and are half filled with water. The pillars surrounding the pool have stucco falling off them and unpainted. The hand railings have rusted supports, so don't lean against them, even though this is the 5th floor. A quick death with no recourse. Many of the floor tiles at the edge of the pool are now missing. The dirty food dishes, wine/beer glasses and beer and wine bottles and cans from a wedding that held over a week ago when I staying in March 2017, still littered the pool surrounds. The men's toilet for the pool deck, houses the pool cleaning equipment and spare water toys. It has windows missing that haven't been replaced, holes in the ceiling of the shower cubicles, a large broken mirror and structural walls with cracks running vertically through the tiles. The emergency exit to the air conditioning compressors are unreachable if a fire started in that area, and the chemicals for cleaning and maintaining the pool are kept in a non-ventilated room with a damaged door and no lock on it. The rooms themselves are definitely NOT 4 Star even for Vietnamese standards, maybe 1.5 to 2 star now in 2019. Maybe when it was built 20 years ago, it was 4 star, but not any longer. The furniture is stained from years of neglect, some other rooms have been closed and are off limits to guests. (As the building owners sold many rooms as "time share rooms", Illegally, and now because all time share room owners have had their investment dividend reduced by over 70%, no longer allow their rooms to be sold by the hotel owners). The refrigerator is kept in an enclosed box cupboard under the TV, and even though turned on, heats rather than cools anything that is placed inside it. The reception is filled with market stores which are usually not attended. Lastly, the patio sliding door does not lock from the inside.
