everything was good but the level of service and room was better 10 year ago. Also the food was much better quality for the price range, breakfast options were great but no essentials like maple syrup for example. Overall it was a good stay though.
The hotel is overall very good. Clean and comfortable rooms, and a peaceful location perfect for a holiday. The hotel staff truly deserve 5 stars for their quick service and helpful attitude — they were excellent. However, I don’t believe the hotel lives up to a full 5-star rating or its premium pricing. A single night cost me 1000 SAR, which seems high compared to what’s offered. Breakfast was quite basic and didn’t meet expectations. Surprisingly, there was no valet parking service available even though I arrived late — something I’d expect from a hotel in this price range. Also, the tennis court was completely neglected and unusable, as clearly shown in the attached photos — which is disappointing for a high-end hotel.
I'm currently staying at the hotel and have really enjoyed several aspects — the swimming pool, gym, and breakfast are all excellent and definitely enhance the overall experience. However, the laundry service has been very disappointing. I paid a deposit at reception and asked them to coordinate with the laundry service directly, so I wouldn’t have to follow up myself. I dropped off my laundry four days ago, but as of now, I still haven’t received it. To make things worse, the laundry service called me yesterday claiming I hadn’t paid — even though I already did at reception. I asked for my laundry to be delivered by 8:00 PM yesterday, but no one showed up, and there’s still no update today. I'm really frustrated by the lack of communication and service. For the amount they charge, I expected something much more reliable. Do I really need to chase them down just to get my clothes back? I hope the hotel management resolves this quickly and takes steps to improve the coordination and quality of this service.
