Excellent value for money! The staff is very friendly! The breakfast is quite ok, it doesn't change, it's the same every morning. It's very well located, 5 minutes from the central square.

Bayangol Hotel is one of the oldest and most original hotels in Ulaanbaatar, and it really carries that classic charm! The location is unbeatable — right in downtown and within walking distance to everything you might need: restaurants, shops, museums, and government offices. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is professional, and you really feel the history of the place when you stay here. A solid choice if you want convenience and a touch of local heritage. Highly recommend!

I booked this hotel for my friends visiting from USA. They booked 5 months in advance on booking.com and paid. I even called and spoke with their booking manager Erdenesuren in the morning of their arrival and confirmed their reservation. When we arrived around 6 pm on check in day, we were told that they couldn’t find our reservation at first. When we showed them the confirmation and mentioned the phone call we made prior arrival, she said ( I assume Erdenesuren) that they received 12 rooms reservation before our arrival and gave our room to those people. What ???!! What kind of hotel does that?? She didn’t even apologize and had an attitude, even pretended she doesn’t speak English. When I asked her in Mongolian she said that she will send us to a different hotel named Happiness hotel instead which was 2 times cheaper in a weird location!!! Don’t book in advance and don’t trust these people. I don’t know why she has such attitude when she was the one who made a mistake and gave our pre-booked and paid room to her friends . I wonder if she was related to the management of the hotel?? All other employees looked miserable, irritated. I’ve never seen any hotel with such hostile and miserable employees. Stay away!!
