Bayar Garden Holiday Village

A cheap budget hotel. Room was cleaned daily. Towels changed daily so no problem with the room. Gardens are large and very pleasant to walk through to the pools. Pools are well kept and clean. The beach area is poorly kept. The beach staff spent most of the time looking at their phones instead of looking after guests of cleaning rubbish etc. Its also a long walk back to the bar for a drink. Food is ok with various dishes on offer that looked good but were almost always cold !! Unfortunately covid protocols were poorly enforced all around the hotel. Now for the worst. I paid 15tl per day for poor internet access. There is one young ish person in reception that charged at least 4 people we knew 20tl per day. Or he would charge 3 usd or 3 euro where the other guys charged 2.i can only assume he was putting the balance in his pocket but when I asked the manager about it suddenly none spoke Russian or English. When I challenged the young man in reception why he was charging more he became rude and threatening....pity as the hotel is in a good location it's just a shame about reception staff who frankly couldn't care about the holiday makers....

The hotel has never been worse. Unkind staff. The receptionist does not know a word of English. The food is monotonous, for two days we only got a fork from the cutlery. I have been to Turkey before, but I have never experienced such rudeness. The rooms are bad, the TV didn't work, they don't clean rooms every day. The beach is very bad, as if the rock was cut and covered with sand. The sand is only on the shore, there are piles of gravel and stones in the water. Beach and water are very dirty, people get a rash. The deck chairs are broken both at the pool and on the beach. There is a huge heat in the place. The climate is very unpleasant, it is worse in the evening than during the day. Without air conditioning it is impossible to sleep.

Doesn't deserve one star while grading this hotel. It has beach however can not enjoy because of plenty rock and stones. Foods are low quality and insufficient. Plates, glasses, spoon and forks are terrible dirty. Rooms are not clean, used old materials. Aircon doesn't run properly in the rooms. There is no WiFi!!! Beverages! Terrible... Spirits, which are served in the hotel the cheapest in the country. Beer is 98% water...
