Fabulous hotel with incredibly beautiful accommodation units. As inconspicuous as it may seem from the outside, the accommodation units are spectacular. And no lie: I slept on the most comfortable bed in Istanbul! Great concept at a very reasonable price. All the sights are easy to reach by public transport. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee are always available 7/24. Thank you for the service.

I had an amazing experience staying at BayMari Suites in Istanbul. The apartments are modern, spacious, and fully equipped with everything you need — from a kitchen and washing machine to a smart TV. It felt just like home! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is in a peaceful area, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. While it’s a bit outside the main tourist zones, getting to the city center is easy and straightforward. It’s excellent value for money — perfect for families, long stays, or anyone looking for comfort and convenience. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay again!

Title: Overpriced, Unsafe, and Completely Unacceptable – Do Not Book This Place Our stay at this hotel apartment was nothing short of a disaster, and I strongly urge others—especially families with children—not to book it. To start, it was extremely expensive, and yet the experience didn’t reflect that price at all. The location is far from the city center, making transportation a nightmare. Whether by taxi or public transport, getting around was inconvenient and expensive, which added to the frustration of being in such a remote and uncomfortable area. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that money was the priority for the staff—not the guests. We were asked to pay a €100 deposit on the spot, with no warning beforehand, and they refused to let us in until it was paid. No receipt, no documentation, nothing. This wasn’t part of the booking agreement and felt like a complete scam. The apartment itself may have had everything “you might need,” but everything was either broken, outdated, or on the verge of falling apart. The kitchen, the dishwasher, the windows, the doors—especially the door handles—were in terrible condition. On our very first night, we got trapped inside the bedroom with our children because the door handle broke. We had no way of getting out. It was a terrifying situation. Eventually, someone heard us and helped us get out, but even then, we had to tip the repairman who came to fix the problem—something we shouldn’t have been responsible for in the first place. Even worse was the constant, overpowering smell of sewage coming from both the kitchen and the bathroom. It was impossible to enjoy the apartment, especially during the night when the smell intensified and made sleeping difficult and unhealthy—particularly concerning since we had two young children with us. The surrounding area felt unsafe, and going out at night didn’t feel like a good idea, especially with kids. On top of all that, the staff were cold and unfriendly, offering no real help or hospitality throughout the stay. To sum it up: the hotel is overpriced, the location is poor, the staff is unhelpful, and the apartment is in a deteriorated, unsafe condition. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and especially not to families with children. There are much better options out there—do not waste your money or risk your safety here.
