Bayview Hotel

We stayed at Bayview for Memorial Day Weekend and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked we loved the place. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was also very comfortable. We stayed in one of the peak king rooms with a beautiful view of the ocean. Highly recommend booking one of these rooms. We were not able to get tickets to see the sunrise, but we were able to see one from our balcony. We also enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee out there one quiet morning. The breakfast was very good with many options to have before heading out for the day. All of the egg dishes were outstanding. They also have a shuttle service that you can take if you want to go out for dinner in town. This was our first time to Bar Harbor and Bayview but it won’t be our last.

I've stayed at many hotels around the world, and this ranks in the top 3. The room was spacious and well appointed. There were many extras that were included, and the view was just to die for. The service was phenomenal. Holly and Debra (sp?) at the desk went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. I don't know the names of the 2 gentlemen that worked the front desk in the afternoon and evenings, but they were equally hospitable. I am a breakfast person, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The homemade cinnamon rolls were as good as they come. They would also make a couple of fried eggs if you asked. This was my second trip to Bar Harbor, and if I go there again, I will stay here.

But what truly made our visit unforgettable was the staff — especially Holly, the manager. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of at every step. Her kindness, attention to detail, and personal touch made a world of difference. If you’re looking for a place that blends charm, comfort, and top-notch hospitality, look no further. We can’t wait to come back!
