Great location and a very good hotel. Yes it’s build In 1977 but very well kept. It’s not run down at all (I read a review got upset after booking) it’s very well kept, nice and clean, great view, easy access to everything. Rooftop bar/restaurant. The gym is very small but it was empty when I visited so I think it’s okay. I liked this place and coming back again.
I went during March 2025 and stayed for 5 nights if I’m not mistaken. I didn’t pay extra but got the room on the top floor with an amazing view, felt lucky because of it. We got a room with two separate beds, although we were staying as a couple. But, that’s alright. The room was so spacious with a big window so I didn’t mind at all. Front desk was always friendly and quick to answer. It was a pleasant experience.
I paid RM240 for a single night, but the experience I had was nothing short of appalling. The level of service was practically non-existent. The receptionist was completely unresponsive, and the staff overall were cold, uninterested, and unwelcoming. Let’s start with the room. The furniture is painfully outdated, the carpet was stained and filthy, and the entire place gave off the depressing feel of a neglected one-star motel. This was my first time booking with Bayview Hotels—and without a doubt, it will be my last. But unfortunately, that’s not all. Now let’s talk about the parking situation—an absolute nightmare. There were no clear signs for entry, forcing me to circle the building twice just to figure out how to get in. Once inside, the path from the parking lot to the hotel is exhausting to walk and extremely unpleasant—dirty, dark, and honestly, a little creepy. This was not just a disappointing stay—it was a frustrating and regrettable experience. Bayview Hotels seriously needs to reevaluate what they call “hospitality.”
