Bayview Lake Taupo

An exceptional holiday stay for a larger group! 8 of us stayed for 3 days and were impressed by the standard of this home. Perfectly set for a bigger group this would be ideal for several families. Stunning lake and town views from the large deck, the spa was also a hit. 3 bathrooms including an ensuite off the downstairs master room, separate toilet/bathroom upstairs to service the 3 other bedrooms. Some of the bedrooms are a tight fit but all were comfortable and well appointed with tasteful furnishings. Full laundry is available which was super handy after several spas (note: spa towels and bath towels were all supplied). Kitchen is fully appointed, the fire was beautifully set ready to be lit and we found it warmed most of the house. A little tricky to find initially, the house is located up a long drive, up behind the Anchorage motel directly off the main lake road. 2minute walk to 2 mile boat club which serves Havana coffee, that's a win in itself! Highly recommend this property and absolutely will stay again!

Highly recommend booking accommodation through Lakeside Accommodation. They ensure that the place feels like home, without feeling like you are actually staying in someone's house. The facilities were all really well looked after and you can tell the place has been professionally cleaned after each stay. Will definitely book through them again next time we stay in Taupo :) Big thanks to Stephanie for organising a place for us in such short notice as well.
