From the start to the finish, this was the model of how properties should operate. Idalette gave us such a warm welcome and was in contact before and during our stay to ensure everything was taken care of. I would highly recommend this oasis in Camps Bay and we will be returning for sure. I highly recommend.

I honestly don’t know from where to start! Alice and Gerald ( the owner of the guesthouse ) have been amazing with me and they treated me like a daughter… I traveled to 40+ countries and I’ve never felt home anywhere else in any 5 star resort I’ve ever been to but this guest house and the people were super kind and helpful. My room was stunning, it was a sea view and the bed was so comfortable, there is even a heater in the bed 😃. I had an entire kitchen and the living room was so cute. I was always having my morning coffee there and I don’t want to forget the terrace and the pool, thy are over the Mountain View along with the ocean and that was everything I needed to relax and unwind . I recommend it 10000000% whenever you are in Cape Town ❤️ Ps: I still think that my words doesn’t do justice there is still more to discover.

A beautiful accommodation with a breathtaking view of the ocean! The Bakoven/Camps bay location is one of the most beautiful and safe neighbourhoods in Cape Town. So every morning was spent enjoying a coffee (provided by the house) by the pool with the aforementioned view, then walking (30 minutes) down to the beach. I enjoyed the late evening by the pool again, because the sunset from there is just special. Friends joined me to enjoy this spectacle. There, at the foot of the mountain, you also enjoy the peace and quiet. The city noise does not exist there. That was very pleasant for me - because I also had a relaxing retreat. The room was big enough, had a kitchenette with all the essential kitchen utensils, a large bed for two, a big wardrobe, a bathroom with a bathtub. This room also had a large terrace with a table and two chairs. It was actually more like a small flat than a room. It was clean and tidy when I arrived, as well as every other day. So thanks to the great staff, who made sure that all guests felt comfortable in the entire building. And great praise to these wonderful people who were there for all every day with friendliness and support. I also would like to mention an additional advantage of bayview penthouses: The Generator. Cape Town is known for its unusual situation regarding power cuts( called load sheddings). Compared to my friends who lived in other flats with similar prices, I had light, wifi and hot water during the load sheddings. The owners really thought of everything. I would like to thank the owners again for everything. They are incredibly lovely and friendly. I really felt at home thanks to you.
