The swim up bar wasn't opened during our stay which was a bit disappointing. Beautiful pool & rooms, a lot of money was clearly spent renovating this place, the facilities just let it down a little. Everyone was bringing their own food & drink in as no one appeared at the restaurant bar either. Good breakfast very impressed with the egg station.

We stayed in the pool villa. Let me say, it was very nice. The room is very clean and comfortable. All together we stayed in 7 different hotels all around Thailand this time around. However there are some flaws that make the difference between a really nice stay and a only visual pleasant experience. The breakfast is not good. There is straight up not more to say to it. It lacks variety and quality. The private pool is nice, but has dirty water and that sort of ruins it. The shower doesn't get hot, which can be a problem if you are a woman and want to wash soap out of your hair. All together it is a nice looking place, on a part of the island where you can not find enough things to do anything, which lacks too much to provide a really good experience.

We stayed in BayWater Resort two years ago, in a room with pool access, and the place was nice, 2500 baht nice, good service, luxurious even. That has changed!!!! We booked the same type of room, and was looking forward to a bit of luxury. We came to a room where the shower smelled like some one urinated in it, there was urin stains on the toilet seat. The pool had algae, growing on the sides and pool lights. Somehow I took it with a smile, and since my kids had just been in the pool, and needed a shower, I just cleaned that shower and toilet. Then I took the kids to the indoors playground, where live electric wires was hanging out the wall, and the floor was so dirty they got black all over. We went back to the room, and found out the toilet couldn’t flush. We ordered room service, standard Thai food, nothing difficult. When we had waited for more than one hour, I walked down to the reception, and asked what happened with my food. They were surprised that I didn’t get it already. I suggested that I crossed the street and got the food from a restaurant, and as compensation they payed it. They agreed, until I 20min later came back with the food, and a receipt for 720 bath. Then they wanted to upgrade my room instead. With two kids whom should have had food, and should be sleeping 2 hours ago, I declined. I asked for money back, and I would move out in the morning. They called a “boss” that in poor English declined a refund, and paying for the food. The send me back to my room, and promised the owner would call me in half an hour. Instead the reception called me, and tried to convince me to take the upgrading. I didn’t want to waste more time on it, and suggested that we could talk about it tomorrow. Then at 22:20 o’clock, with out knocking the door gets unlocked and 3 person’s walked in to our room. I threw them out, and went back to the reception, to restate my demand to Check out tomorrow, and get a full refund.
