The hotel was recently acquired by the B&B group and therefore doesn't yet meet the standards of a traditional B&B hotel. The building is located in the middle of a commercial area, but it's quiet in the evenings, apart from the occasional plane landing. However, since there is a ban on night flights, this doesn't affect your sleep. There's a large supermarket and several chain restaurants nearby. The rooms, however, are small and quite cramped; the low ceilings and the "historic" color scheme aren't particularly inviting. Due to the size of the rooms, privacy is somewhat limited: the classic Ibis budget shower, with its glass door, opens directly into the living room, which has space for a double bed and a tiny table against the wall. The sink is mounted right next to the bed, and the toilet has its own small cubicle. However, this accommodation is not really suitable for travelers with children. You can see that the building is showing its age and probably once served another purpose, perhaps as construction housing. It's clean, and the service is very attentive. The daily rates may feel a bit lower than the usual B&B rates, but they can actually reach €100 per day, especially if you're looking for something at short notice. But that's just a matter of supply and demand. There's a small breakfast area, but I didn't take advantage of the breakfast itself. The owner seems to be there day and night, but perhaps he should take a few days off—that would ease the stress. The B&B responded immediately to my criticism, was very accommodating, and wrote that there can certainly be differences in quality when taking over other hotels, but these are usually quickly adjusted. My conclusion: In its current state, it's suitable for an overnight stay. However, I would only use it for a short break if nothing else is available, but the standard will probably change soon in favor of a B&B.
don't go to sleep here! the guy at the reception is some kind of “izan” who thinks he can treat customers like animals! I don't recommend!!!!!!!
