B&B Hotel Padova Methis

We booked this hotel through Booking.com and weren't disappointed. Parking is convenient in a courtyard behind the hotel. Breakfast is very good with plenty of options to choose from. It's not purely sweet sugary breakfast bomb like most places in Italy. How they don't understand that most people prefer salty foods in the morning or don't like sugar at all, is beyond me. The guys running this place know it. Breakfast spread has variety of eggs, ham, cheese, different kinds of coffee and teas. A proper continental morning routine. We were a family of 5 in two rooms, one triple and one twin double. Rooms are large especially for Europe and bathroom ia very comfortable 4 piece affair inclusive of a bidet and combined bath/shower. It's in the quiet neighborhood just outside the cannal wrapped around the old city. You are inside in 2 minutes walking. A popular bar is at the ground level of the building next door. Great for aperitivo after a long walk.

Good service, great breakfast offerings. The rooms were a bit hot but the staff helped with the AC. The rooms were nice and a good size. Walkable to the piazza, river and grocery store!

This hotel should be punished for false advertising. The pictures look NOTHING like the hotel. The facilities are awful, air conditioning definitely doesn’t work, the switch to use it didn’t even have a face on it. Bathroom seals have all failed, power points in the room are poor. Furniture is damaged and pealing. Beds are awful, low down and uncomfortable. Corridors are depressing. Breakfast is basic and very small area. Very far walk from the train station. I would never stay here again and would not recommend you do. This is quite literally somewhere to sleep indoors. It is in no sense a pleasant experience.
