I recently spent a full week at B&B HOTEL Sado Setúbal on a business trip, and the entire experience was a pleasure from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the front‑desk team greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm—always ready to assist with directions, local recommendations, or any small request I had throughout my stay. Their friendly, professional manner made every interaction feel personalized and effortless. Each morning, I enjoyed a simple yet satisfying breakfast. The spread included a variety of fresh breads and cereals, alongside chilled orange and apple juices, plus free coffee and tea. It was just the right selection to kick‑start my day without fuss—perfect fuel before heading out to meetings. My room was a true haven of comfort. The bed was exceptionally cozy, the linens crisp and spotless, and the blackout curtains ensured a peaceful night’s rest after busy days. The modern décor felt welcoming without being overdone, and the overall cleanliness was impeccable. All in all, B&B HOTEL Sado Setúbal delivered on every promise: exceptionally friendly service, a straightforward but tasty breakfast, and a supremely comfortable room. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Setúbal!
The staff were very helpful. We arrived very late at night due to flight delays and then our luggage not arriving, the front desk person lent us phone chargers as our adaptors for the outlets were in our checked bags, until we could buy new ones the next day, and the staff was all very helpful about our baggage being delivered to the hotel (finally) after 2 days, keeping us updated on if it had been dropped off, or the hotel had been contacted or not regarding it.
The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, and the view from the patio was really nice. The rooms are quite basic though and look dated (I had the deluxe suite). The bathtub lacked a plug so I could only take showers, and the door in the parking garage doesn't accept key cards so I had to walk back up the hill since the receptionist never heard the bell despite ringing a few times over 5 minutes. Lastly, I didn't have any AC outlets near the bed so I had to unplug the light to charge my phone overnight. The location is a bit out of the way so you'll want to drive or hitch a ride to make it to the city center. The view from the hotel made up for that though. Overall, it's an OK hotel, but not worth the price or the ★★★★ rating in my opinion.
