BE Destination Tulum

Incredible resort, very special place. Top notch amenities and food. Wonderful staff, took such good care of us. Shoutout to Roger at the restaurant who made our mornings; Yolanda and Philippe at the front desk were so warm and hospitable. Hope to come back one day.

This is my second time staying at Be Tulum. The hotel offers a raw, luxurious, bohemian vibe you won’t find anywhere else. It’s immersive, soulful, and intentionally close to nature. Yes, there’s music near the beach on weekends—it’s part of the experience. If you want total silence, book a room further back. Many negative reviews come from guests expecting a traditional resort. This place isn’t for the prissy or picky. It’s for those who appreciate design, nature, and a bit of edge. If that’s you, you’ll love it.

Be Tulum is the best hotel in Tulum! Our week-long stay was unforgettable. The architecture is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. This is the place to experience the Tulum vibe in the most comfortable way possible. The concierge, Aylin, kept us informed about daily activities at Be and their sister property, Nomade, via WhatsApp. We also had cordial assistance from Aylin in making all our reservations. The beach is beautiful and one of the few hotels that regularly have people cleaning the sargassum. We attended a ceremony of a Chaman almost every afternoon at the beach to welcome hotel guests. Overall, it was a great place, and we look forward to returning soon.
