It was an extraordinary experience to stay at Be One Hotel and Resort in Chiang Rai, Thailand. First of all, it was best price in Chiang Rai. The resort is aesthetically decorated. It is situated in a calm and tranquil location. Rooms are pretty spacious. You will be amazed when you go to the balcony that opens you to an outstanding view. The best surprise is the free coffee, Milo, and cookies. Staff members are awesome! Swimming pool was an added surprise. I rate 100 on 100 and seven stars.

We’ve had mixed booking experiences with OYO hotels in the past and were a bit sceptical to book a room at this property. But everything went smoothly with this stay. The resort is a bit dated and rooms show their age, although it looked as they recently received a new coat of paint. The bed was comfortable and the location very quiet. Talking of location, the Hotel is quite far from Chiang Rai centre, but about 100m away is a neighbourhood street that has several eateries and shops, so you won’t need to drive to town to get a bite to eat. Our room had a small dining area outside in an enclosed balcony with at sink, but no microwave. Rooms have no kettle but hot water downstairs. Free coffee is provided until 10am. Wifi was rather slow, and we didn’t like that the small fridge turned off when we removed the keycard from the slot.

Never again Oyo, the worst experience I've had and as you can see from my profile I travel a lot. First I checked in and there were only Chinese people who had their doors open in the hallway and were just shouting back and forth in the hallway and the hotel staff did nothing, they just laughed. After 3 hours I checked out again and moved to another hotel. And now the problems are just starting because after 8 emails and 18 phone calls and after more than 2 months Oyo finally transferred my money back to me, which is a no-go. Oyo is a circus hotel and has unqualified people who are good at selling bananas at the market but are not qualified to work in a hotel 👎👎
