Beach Park Acqua Resort

There’s not enough great things we can say about this resort and beach park. We visited from NY with two young children and we all loved it. Our room was great with an amazing front view of the ocean, we would sit on the balcony every evening enjoying the ocean waves and breeze. The food was great!! We had breakfast and lunch included with our room, and they had a good variety of dishes, all delicious. We especially liked the kids mini buffet for our son who’s a very picky eater. The crown jewel of the hotel however is the water park itself right next to it with easy (And early!) access to the park. We were just bowled over as to how amazing the park was, it’s truly world class. We highly recommend the espaco cabanas in the park- it costs extra but well worth it if you have a family, it comes with butler service and private bathrooms and showers (for cabana users only) right in the middle of the park. Lastly, I must say that all of the staff were just amazing- very friendly, patient and helpful. The only constructive criticism I have- the building needs renovation. In our room there was a small amount of water coming in through one of the windows during a storm, and parts of the room were a little worn. However, it was nothing that affected our stay, more of a minor annoyance. We will back!!

The resort is one of the most expensive in CE and explore their excellent location to justify the price. However it lacks maintenance and basic services. Need Improvement: - Internet access: limited and very poor. If you need to work from the resort or even stream Netflix for your kids at night you are in trouble - Channel selection is also poor and unstable. - Resort exterior needs painting and overall restoration. The bright side is that management finally understood and added a new cafe and store and are working on the exteriors. Positive: - location is perfect: Beach and Water Park are 2min away. - Pool is really good and connects with Beach Park - staff is friendly and welcoming - Dona Bebe is Amazing and the soul of the restaurant. We stayed here twice and I noticed slow improvements from 12 months ago.

Awesome location. The resort is literally on the beach. Amenities are almost inexistent since the idea is the spend the day at the water park. If you're not into that you'll be out of luck since there's nothing else to do inside the hotel. Rooms offer basic comfort but lack personality and style. Food is surprisingly good but service can be slow at times. Cocktails are not the forte of the hotel. Not a place I would recommend if you don't have kids between 6 and 16.
