Beachcroft Hotel BW Signature Collection

A lovely hotel. The staff (reception in particular but all we spoke to were great) were so friendly and made our break extra special. It was our daughter's 8th birthday and there was a little gift pack in our room. We dined in the hotel restaurant that night and the head chef even came out to sing Happy Birthday with a special birthday brownie! Location was excellent - you're basically on the seafront. The view from our room was lovely and "Blake's Bar" was very nice for an afternoon drink (or evening pizza the night we ate there). Overall we couldn't have been happier and I'm sure we'll return.

What a lovely little place! Wish I could just drop it half a star really due to a broken blind, faulty shower and although the lovely 4 poster bed was comfy, the pillows were rather hard overnight (I miss foam pillows in hotels!) Anyway, minor gripes for what was a very lovely late-planned stay. The meal we had in the evening there was absolutely stunning, so much flavour! One I shall remember. Breakfast was also very good. Service was excellent all round, the staff seeming like they were happy enough. Nice touch on our dining table for our anniversary too which was sweet. We are in the area again in a few weeks and are thinking we might try and sneak another couple of nights in! Very nice!

The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, real credit. The swimming pool was lovely and quiet but for me a bit small as much as it's nice to bob about in it isn't big enough to swim lengths in. The room had a beautiful view of the sea with no restrictions with fully opening windows I slept to the sound of the waves. Although there was no air conditioning the sea breeze kept the heating down. The shower was nice and powerful, my only gripe about the room is it was quite dated and could do with a freshen up and parking was quite difficult but I did arrive late in the day which is why it lost the star from 5 to 4. Other than that this was a lovely stay
