Beachfront Resort Torquay

We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite with upper level presenting a beautiful morning sun and views. The property is very comfortable and clean with all basic amenities a family would need during the stay. Kids loved the pool, spa and games. Nearby beaches and restaurants is a plus. Staff is very welcoming and goes an extra mile to cheer up the kids. We would love to come back and would highly recommend to others as well.

Thank you to the amazing team at Wyndham Resort Torquay! From the moment I connected with Brad who took care of us to ensure we got the room we really wanted! It’s a birthday week so we wanted a special experience for family and comforts of home to the best when traveling. Meeting Brad was a great start - professional and kind and check in was swift. Guest services were lovely guiding us to our room. The room itself had everything we needed. Two bedroom overlooking to pool area. A quiet resort with friendly staff. Clean apartment with every utensil you could think of. We cooked every night and loved the experience which is a change for us. HUGE shout to Marcia for her professionalism- we had a slight hiccup however she resolved it with a smile and a experience. Enjoyed the Deal or no deal hour - fun hour hosted by the lovely GM Cameron who had a lovely chat with us. Wish you well on your next adventure! Pool facilities are awesome - lap pool was put to great use and the staff. Overall 5 out 5 experience and we will absolutely be back - looking at dates and we’re only checking out today!

I would do your research before staying in this hotel. What is advertised is not what you get. No daily housekeeping which is advertised everywhere. I had to call reception and request fresh towels etc. After asking about daily housekeeping, I was told unprofessionally that due to wage increases and cost of living over winter didn’t warrant daily housekeeping. Wow!! Customer service & etiquette was lacking here. Also I accidentally left x2 jackets in the wardrobe along with a scarf & belt and only the scarf and belt were handed in by housekeeping. It’s very odd that the level of security is low and no cameras in the hallways of this hotel. My property was clearly stolen and there was poor handling of the situation with management. Basically too bad, we can’t do anything and that I’d probably find my clothing as many hotel patrons have in the past that have put in complaints. Now the hotel has said I’d have to pay to have my scarf and belt posted to me. I will not be recommending this hotel nor will we ever stay there.
