Beana Laponia

A magical place near Rovaniemi.. Quiet, lots of white around and warm and kind people.. Delicious and meticulous meals and amazing staff! The place offers snow sledding with huskies, a sauna, a jacuzzi and other great attractions.. I will definitely come back here on my next visit to Finland.

Superb experience at this lodge near Meltaus. Boutique style meaning personal service and experiences. Rooms (we had a plus room) was decent size and we'll equipped and comfortable...though bed a little hard. Large ensuite with double showers was good. Toiletries good quality. Maybe just need a few extra towels (it's trying slightly too hard to be green). Food was ok. Some very good, some less so. Dinner is a set menu with veg/non veg main option. Activities were the highlight. 5 hrs experiences with huskies and snowmobiling were memorable. The aurora kept us waiting, but it was worth it. A perfect location for a short break.

A special thank you to Filippa, Katja, Johnathan, Noel, and Isabel—their attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality really elevated our stay beyond expectations. The food was simply next-level amazing—every meal was a delicious, different each day, and bursting with incredible local flavors. The Jerusalem artichoke soup was an absolute standout, and even the meals served during the safaris were delicious and thoughtfully prepared, making every experience feel extra special. The variety of activities and tours was fantastic, offering a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. From snowshoeing to snowmobiling, everything was well organized, ensuring we could fully embrace the beauty of Lapland. But without a doubt, the highlight of our trip was the husky tour—the dogs completely stole our hearts! The thrill of gliding through the pristine, snowy landscapes with these incredible dogs was pure magic, they’re all so loveable! A huge thank you again to Filippa, Katja, Johnathan, Noel, and Isabel for their outstanding hospitality, knowledge, and passion.
