Beckford Inn

Lovely place to stay. We had a room in the new building which was well appointed with nice extra touches including fresh cookies. The floors in the room above squeaked whenever anyone moved, but otherwise nice. Wonderful breakfast. Menu could have been clearer what was / wasn't included but tasted delicious. Staff incredibly friendly.

Another lovely, relaxing stay at Beckford with our Labrador. We particularly enjoyed the lovely, spacious room in the older part of the pub. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our evening meal was delicious and the service friendly and very efficient. We’ll be back!

Stopped by The Beckford Inn recently and had such a great time. The place itself is charming and welcoming, but what really stood out was the staff — genuinely friendly, attentive without being over the top, and always ready to help with a smile. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home. Nothing felt rushed, and everyone seemed happy to chat or offer recommendations when we asked. It really made the whole visit feel relaxed and easy. Food and drinks were spot on too — just the right mix of hearty and refined. All in all, a really enjoyable experience made even better by the people working there. Big shout out to Laura. Would happily come back!
