Bed & Barrel at Stonehouse Cellars

I had the most amazing weekend stay at Bed & Barrel! We were there to celebrate a birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The accommodation was cozy, scenic, and full of thoughtful touches. We grilled BBQ, played volleyball in the pool, enjoyed board games in the winery room, and even played some frisbee outside. So much fun! A special thank you to Daniel, who gave us a wine tasting and a tour of the barrel room. He was super knowledgeable and passionate. It was such a memorable experience. Everything about our stay, the wine, the property, the warm hospitality, was top-notch. Highly recommend!

We spent a delightful afternoon enjoying a picturesque picnic lunch amidst the stunning vineyard landscape, followed by an exquisite private dinner that perfectly complemented the ambiance. And of course, let's not forget the exceptional selection of wines that added a touch of celebratory sparkle to our romantic escape. The house itself exceeded all expectations; its modern design and impeccable cleanliness contributed significantly to the overall luxurious feel. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and deeply grateful for the memories created. We wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional retreat to anyone seeking a romantic and luxurious escape.

Update & good news: I've finally heard back from the hotel. They have spoken to hotels.com and refunded the money. They have responded by phone and by email. I'm looking forward to giving them a second chance in the future. I reserved a room through hotels.com the day before arrival. When I showed up at 5pm to check in, everything was dark and there was only a siamese cat to welcome me. (Super social, affectionate cat. Unfortunately it looked like it had recently survived a larger animal attack and needed vet care due to infected punctures). I left, got to my friends house and began calling to find out what the check in procedures were. Nobody answered. No one responded to emails and no one has responded at all. This was 11 days ago. I've called and hotels.com has reached out .... and WE'VE gotten nothing in response. I need my money back. I fulfilled my end of the contract, Unfortunately I was never able to check in. Read the fine print with hotels.com. They say they can't refund me because they haven’t been able to confirm that I wasn't able to check in and use the reservation.
