Bedda Eco Cottages

We had an incredibly relaxing 3-day stay at Bedda Eco Resort. The cottages are basic but very comfortable, with a stunning view overlooking the Nilwala River. There are two villas that can easily accommodate 4–6 adults, making it ideal for a small group or family getaway. The best part is the peaceful, secluded natural setting – it's the perfect escape from the noise and stress of daily life. Don’t expect luxury or Western-style meals here; instead, go for the traditional Sri Lankan food, which was absolutely delicious. The Sri Lankan rice and curry was hands down the tastiest we’ve had. If you're looking for tranquility, good food, and a nature-immersed experience, this place is totally worth the money you pay. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay and the host is friendly and very helpful. We appreciate that we could leave our bags after the check in in his place. You can do a lot of hikes and waterfall trips around. Will come back for sure !

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved it here! Needless to say, the environment is incredible : beautiful view , peaceful nature, etc. But also , the owner was fast on his feet to accommodate all of our needs , food was great and pretty healthy (we were also treated to local tea and coffee and to traditional dishes which was tasty and interesting to try) , and the rooms were clean, in good condition, and aesthetically pleasing :) If you want to enjoy the peaceful country vibe of Sri Lanka - this is the place to do it :)
