We only stopped in for drinks, but the atmosphere and staff stood out right away—both were excellent. The community toilets were impressively clean. Based on how nice the place is, I expected the prices to be higher, but they were very reasonable. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Marvelous building and estate. Helpful and pleasant staff. Run very efficiently. Good choice at breakfast. A very loud and raucous wedding was in full party mode when we arrived and the receptionist assuredly us we wouldn’t hear or be disturbed. She was right.Would stay at again.
One of those really nice hotels that just manages to fall short on service. Staff are friendly and welcoming, rooms are comfortable and clean. However in the bar and restaurant, particularly at breakfast things just do not work as well as they could. Wait time for drinks, condiments etc is just too long. We have stayed three times in the past year and each time has been the same. Close but not quite there.
