Beautiful refurbished village pub. Welcoming with good service
Went for a curry last Thursday and it was really good to see the pub busy. The curry was really good and considering we hadn't booked were weren't waiting long at all. Really impressive service considering how busy they were. The wait staff are a credit to them! OK selection of lager but could do with more ale.
Booked Sunday lunch as all previous meals in the past had always been amazing, unfortunately the new management have a long way to go to get the food to the standards we had come to expect. Serving staff not knowing what’s on the menu, dried up beef, Yorkshire puddings that resembled pieces of coal they were that black and veg that had seen better days. No cutlery or condiments on the table which when asked for you were made to feel like it was an inconvenience, needless to say we won’t be returning unless there is some vast improvement.
