Beechwood Hotel

I recently stayed at Beachwood Hotel, and while the hotel itself was impressive, the experience got off to a rocky start due to poor customer service at check-in. Unfortunately, my first impression was soured by a very unwelcoming check-in experience. The front desk staff (older gentleman) seemed disinterested and borderline rude, with little effort made to explain hotel amenities or even greet me properly. It felt rushed and impersonal, which was surprising given the quality of the hotel itself. For a place that presents itself as high-end, the service should reflect that from the moment guests walk in.

I was honestly shocked by how badly we were treated at check-in. The man at the front desk — an older gentleman — had such a rude, negative attitude from the moment we walked up. He made what should’ve been a simple check-in feel like a stressful and uncomfortable ordeal. It was like he didn’t want to be there or help anyone. We were excited to stay because the hotel itself is actually nice, but that first impression completely ruined the experience for us. I’ve never felt so disrespected at a hotel before, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through that.

The location was great and close to a lot of stores. I was very surprised by this hotel because in the past I heard great things. Anyways, the room assigned to us was a mess when we walked in. So we were assigned another room and was told a discount would be given off the bill. The next room looked great until we tried to put something in the fridge and found an old pizza box. Smh. When we got our bill and only saw 10% taken off we weren't happy and will not be using this facility again.
