BEI San Francisco Trademark Collection by Wyndham

I love the BEI hotel; it's our go to whenever visiting SF, but they can do way better. Very secure parking (extra charge) and the gentleman that works the front desk is always amazing. Seems that only 1 elevator ever works, so your always waiting around for that or taking the employee service elevator or stairs. The lobby is beautiful, but I haven't been or seen the bar open. Maybe they don't have a bar? Regardless it's a nice lobby. Convenient vending machine that provides essentials you might have forgotten to pack. Carpet in hallways needs to be cleaned, and the rooms while looking more modern are kinda dirty/stained. Basic rooms, disappointed there is no mini fridge. Ice machine seems to be broken on the times I visit. I know these seem like a lot of detractors, but having the security for parking and the friendly staff I choose this hotel over and over again. Short walk from Mr. S Leather and 45min walk from Castro. I would love to see BEI elevate their experience by investing a little more into themselves.

Stayed one night for business travel. The hotel is not bad, but could be better. It doesn’t feel welcoming, and it isn’t the staff, it’s the vibe of the hotel. The hotel itself seemed bare and lacking sanitation and cleanliness. The staff was great! As for the room, the sheets and towels were clean. For one night that’s all I needed. I don’t recommend this hotel for longer stays, the coffee maker was filthy, there were no coffee cups, only a couple plastic water cups. The carpet was a bit dirty with very visible stains and the room had a musty smell to it. They have signs encouraging you to use the towels for the length of your stay to save water. There are a couple of vending machines, that’s it! No restaurant or bar. Overall, not my type of hotel. But may work for a one night stay.

If I could give-5 stars I would. Dirty rooms. Dirty bedding. I had to ask to have our room cleaned and for clean towels. Bums and human waste outside the hotel. Stains and the sheets, walls and carpet. No working elevator. Had to use service elevator that could take 10 minutes to arrive. No bar... no room service. They didn't mop and clean floors. It was by far the most unsanitary place I have ever seen. I would definitely NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! And to top it off. I checked out and they said I had a zero balance. I purchased nothing! They would not print my receipt to show zero. I just noticed a charge for $235 on my credit card. This place is a scam!!!
