This is one of the most beautiful and comfortable hotels in Beijing. It's near Beijing Opera House. Rooms are clean and comfortable. From the highest floors you can see amazing view. Breakfast is mostly Chinese food, but it's was very tasty. It takes nearly 17 minutes to get to the Beijing Forbidden City by taxi.
The hotel itself is ok, maybe 4 stars according to western standards. But the location is awesome, walking distance to the shopping venues, restaurants, and clubs of Sanlitun. And breakfast was simple, but indeed had some continental options. Considering the location and the value for money (only paid 100 EUR), it is a recommendation if you are on a budget and want to stay in fancy Sanlitun.
Firstly was assigned with a smoking room... So furious. Changed to another floor. The fine for smoking was too low in China...
