Beji Ubud Resort

Beji Ubud Resort is set in an absolutely beautiful location, with gorgeous views, but it is apparent that minimal management goes into it. Unfortunately the rooms and hotel grounds require urgent maintenance. Everything was covered in moss and algae, which makes the very steep stairs down to your cabin extremely slippery once it rains. There was construction ongoing in the rooms beneath us during our stay, and the workers slept there. Our room was not made up once during our stay, our geyser and certain plug points in our room did not work. The room was also dirty upon check-in. The staff working there are friendly and seem to be trying their best, but the management is lacking. The breakfast was rarely enough for all the guests. Very disappointed with the service we received, as I notified management of all the issues via email, and never even got a response.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! THE WORST RESORT IN UBUD AND BALI I don't even know where to begin with the Beji Ubud Resort. This was, without a doubt, the single worst place I have ever stayed. If I could give it zero stars, I would. You'd be better off sleeping on the street than staying here. From the moment we arrived, it was a disaster. Despite booking well in advance, we were forced to wait over an hour for our room to be cleaned. When we finally got inside, the problems multiplied. We had booked the large room for six people and they gave us one towel. Their pathetic excuse was, "We're fully booked and many guests asked for towels at the pool." This was a blatant lie, as we didn't see a single person at the dirty, unmaintained pool, and I passed several empty rooms on the way to ours. But wait, there's more. The room itself was a health hazard. The shower was clogged, there were no facial tissues, and the whole place was old and filthy. The worst part was the unwelcome wildlife. We spent the night with rats, spiders, and other insects scurrying around our room. My sisters couldn't sleep at all because of the constant fear of a rat crawling on them. Do not get swayed by their photos on Google. This place is not only unmaintained and disgusting but the staff is also dishonest and unhelpful. It's not just a bad resort; it's a scam. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this place as possible. It is absolutely not worth the money. By far, this is the WORST place I’ve ever stayed. Once again, we remind you, PLEASE STAY OUT OF THIS PLACE!!!

Such a shame. this place should be amazing but it needs a good clean. We were not given the room we paid for, the floors around the resort are greasy and slippy. we chose not to use the pre paid breakfast option after seeing the kitchen, the rooms are dirty, we had rodent droppings in our room, the bath was unusable. there is no spa, there is no option to order food and drinks after breakfast, the management don't want to deal with customers complaining but they happily take the money that you save up all year to go on holiday with. It's a mess best avoided. There are some good businesses very close by.
