Enjoyed the home very much Clean and spacious. Everyone had their own room and I loved the kitchen. The kids loved the pool was in it all day. Will return next spring break
coming from a hospitality background if this was my property I would be ashamed to be the manager here. The moment we walked in the door it looks good for first impression. Make it upstairs start looking around and one of the beds has puke or feces on it. We then got nervous and checked all beds. 2 other beds had not been changed. Keep on going there’s multiple lights that are out. The place just had an overall dirty feeling. The ice machine wouldn’t work. There is personal belongings that overcrowd the closet so you cannot put any of your stuff away. The rooms were very small already with not having anywhere to put your items so they have to go on the floor. The staff that worked here was excellent. I know It’s not their fault. When we initially called about the dirty beds they couldn’t get anybody out to us to clean the house until the next day. We washed the linens which was a plus since at the place had a washer and dryer. But the overall experience was the worst hands-down I have ever had. I would never recommend someone renting these.
We rented the villa we stayed at earlier this year through Bella Vida Vacation Homes whose office is located on the Bella Vida gated Community. There were 7 of us in a 6 bed villa with pool and jacuzzi. We paid extra to have the pool and jacuzzi heated. We arrived late Saturday evening after a long journey and discovered that the wifi didn't work nor did any of the tvs. We contacted the manager, Adriana Betancourt, and she replied that she was waiting to hear back from a tech to see if he could stop by. Meanwhile, the wifi went back on. We then discovered that there was no knob on the jacuzzi switch to turn it on and the pool heating was not on. She told us that nothing could be done as it was the weekend and it would have to be checked on Monday. We also told her that there were only 12 towels and she promised to get more delivered. On Monday afternoon, we went to the office to get the towels that did not get delivered and also to ask for an iron as there wasn't one in the villa. They replaced the knob on the jacuzzi but didn't check it and we came back later that day to discover that the jacuzzi was broken. We had no jacuzzi for the first 11 days of our holiday. The manager promised to refund us $250 for the lack of jacuzzi, but this has not happened and she stopped responding to my emails. There were cockroaches at the back of the villa where the seats were so we couldn't sit out in the evenings and we found one or two in the villa. There were many things needing fixed in the villa - pool lounger broken, outdoor seats broken, toilet seats broken, many of the lights did not work, carpets stained etc. The thing I am most annoyed about is the manager, Adriana Betancourt, who lied to me more than once. I thought booking through what I thought was a reputable company would safeguard against any problems, but I was wrong. We thought we were staying in a gated community as well for safety, but the whole time we were there, the rear gate was open as it was broken. This resulted in a huge party in which we had armed police all around our villa and surrounding area, police helicopters with search lights and still the gate wasn't fixed. I wouldn't advise anyone to use this company.
