Bella Vista Motel Mosgiel

Compact and adequate for a short stop over. Room was clean, warm and tidy. Great shower and comfortable bed. The short trip to the airport made our journey easier also.

The service provided by Patsy was excellent and the overall stay was great. The room was large and comfortable, check in and out easy and overall a nice stay. The lack of fan and air conditioning in the room made the room quite stuffy, and there was also no dining table or dining space. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Thank you.

Unfortunately this motel is absolutely disgusting. I worked here for a small amount of time and the things I witnessed were definitely below standard. Cutlery and dishes look like they haven't been washed properly in months. Toasters and jugs have never been cleaned. The floors have not been mopped for god knows how long as the cleaners weren't even supplied with mops or proper cleaning equipment. Behind tvs and shelf's are coated in dust. Toilets have never been cleaned properly (especially under the rim) photo evidence. I've witnessed some of the workers barge in on guests without even knocking etc. To any guests staying I highly suggest you wash dishes again before use (even though you shouldn’t have to) they haven’t been checked in months, you can tell by the dust and crumbs at the back of cabinets. Finger prints all over toasters, jugs, remotes and light switches. Behind doors look like they have never been cleaned. Especially bathroom doors. Coffee plungers are not cleaned properly so I suggest you don’t use as they are full of mould. Dishwashing liquid under the sinks has gone off and smells like rotten eggs but they keep topping it up. If you prefer not to stay in filth I highly recommend Mosgiel regency down the street as their standards are a lot higher. This post is an honest review. The standards are certainly NOT upto par. None of their toilets had been cleaned properly. Take this constructive criticism and be a better person. It’s a shame you can’t handle honesty. I can only imagine you do this with any negative review you receive. I won’t be silenced nor threatened by you Patsy.
