This has to be one of the best motels in the South Island! For a small space, Marilyn has maximised all of it, fantastic set up. Only hassle which was potentially on me, was the amazing coffee machine - i couldn't work out how to use it and no instructions in the compendium. Fabulous to have it though. Look forward to staying again and highly recommend, especially for business purposes.
The bed was very comfortable, and the room was nice and warm. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was lovely to have the choice of plunger and machine coffee in addition to standard coffee. The continental breakfast was delicious and filling. The only drawback would be, being on the main road and hearing traffic in the morning.
I cannot fault the cleanliness, the room and bathroom were immaculate. The host was friendly and accommodating. It was a comfortable quiet stay. The detail of utensils, pod coffee and bathroom accessories were great. If there was any adjustment I would have preferred, it would be to have an adjustable height shower head. Great place and location.
