THERE IS NO WIFI. AVOID IF YOU NEED WIFI. It is a cheap place to stay for one night so I had very low expectation. The location is quite good, 10 minute walk from a bus stop so you can reach the train station in less than 30 minutes. The room was quite basic. Bed and bathroom. Clean but with old and not well maintained furniture. Can't adjust freely the temperature as you wish so staying was not so comfortable. The worst part and the reason for 1 star is that there is no WiFi. You read it correctly, no WiFi. It is not a one time problem. There is no WiFi as the signal can't reach all the rooms.
On the second and last day of my stay, the hotel had technical problems with the rooms access system. When I came back to my room at 11PM, the card reader of the door did not work (no power) and the same for some other rooms. The real problem was that BellaMI is completely unattended (all contactless check-in and out) and even with this technical problem, there was noone to contact after 6PM and until the next morning. No emergency contact - so myself, and other guests, were supposed to spend the night outside our rooms… Even booking (I booked through them) were only able to send them an email. The result? Me and other guests were locked out of our rooms at night with no one to contact. I ended up calling the emergency services (Italian firefighters, in the pictures) that helped us accessing our rooms (a big thank you to the Vigili del Fuoco). I was finally able to get in my room thanks to the firefighters around 2AM. I do not recommend this facility.
“If you lock yourself out at night WE CAN'T HELP” That’s the phrase they send to us. Imagine if the building loses power during the night and you are out, it would turn into a nightmare sleeping in the street. You Italian should stop being lazy and put someone at least 24h who you can call. If you lose your card, you sleep in the street too. If anything goes wrong, there’s no B plan. I really don’t recommend this risk.
