Bellevue Hotel

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise and excellent stay for me. I got a fantastic deal on a massive corner room on a high floor with a great balcony and a separate patio. To be fair it was the off season so I'm sure that's part of the deal, but the views were incredible, especially at sunrise. The location is great, right next to the beach and near many restaurants and various shops and bars all within walking distance. There are bus stops a few steps away that take you all around and to the main Rimini train station. I also walked to the station in about 20 minutes. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was warm, clean, and inviting. My room had TV, A/C and heat, huge bathroom and wardrobe, extra twin bed and seating area/desk, and a refrigerator with coffee/tea/kettle. I really enjoyed the trip and would totally stay again.

My room was a bit dated but large and clean but most of all, the view of the Mediterranean was breathtaking! Breakfast was really good. The walk from the railway station was about 15 minutes.

I've seen more spacious rooms on a couple of "Worlds toughest prisons" episodes. The room was very obviously a single room, it came with one pillow and one towel, clearly a setup for one person, yet the very stuck up staff insisted it was a double room by their standards. Google won't let me post what their "standard" belongs to sadly. But I can say the furniture in the room belongs in a antique store, the wood so old it's on it's final reincarnation. The breakfast was okay but not okay enough to wash away the taste of dissapointment from our mouth.
