Bellevue Hotel

During my recent stay at Hotel Bellevue in Vienna, I was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The hotel’s classic architecture exudes old-world charm, and its proximity to public transportation makes exploring the city effortless. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast buffet. With an extensive selection of high-quality dishes, it was a delightful start to each day. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff’s friendliness and attentiveness further enhance the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. For anyone visiting Vienna, Hotel Bellevue is a top choice, especially for those who appreciate a lavish breakfast and convenient location. Highly recommended!

Overall it’s a nice hotel for the price. We stayed one night, midweek for £100 for a family room in May. The rooms are a bit outdated but they had amenities like hairdryer and toiletries. Beds are comfortable, family room spacious but we found the insulation is not great and you can hear everything from the corridor, very noisy in the morning. Drain in the bath was very slow to drain ( room 328), I mentioned it to the receptionist on checking out so hopefully it be sorted for future guest. Breakfast is an extra 10 euros per person. It’s very good , wide selection and fresh orange juice.

Would never recommend this dump. Had an incredibly stressful and uncomfortable experience here. They have a strange policy where they charged both my debit and credit card for the room. Supposedly I’ll get refund from one of them but nobody explained this policy beforehand, and I went several days thinking I had been double charged for the room. When I asked them about it nobody mentioned this policy still, they just acted confused. They stated that only the general manager could handle it, yet none of the employees had any idea when their boss was returning to work. There was zero sense of urgency or even an apology when it seemed as though I had been charged nearly an extra $700. They kept saying “well you’re here till Friday” which is ridiculous. They also like to brag about being a four star hotel but it’s rather old and gross. The beds aren’t very comfortable, the shower is completely open, and the AC doesn’t really work and forget about getting any issues with your room fixed in a timely manner. People say you get what you pay for and this place definitely feels cheap. L
