Bellevue Maradiso Village by Aminess

We stayed at Aminess Bellevue Village (bungalows next to hotel) for 8 nights. The room interior was very basic but clean. The sound isolation is not the best so you can hear the noise from the upper room. However, the location is second to none. We had a terrace overlooking the sea and the beach is literally a stone's throw away. The hotel pool is clean and plenty of sun chairs with amazing view of the sea and Korcula island. The breakfast is served in a room with amazing sea views again. You can easily visit Korcula island as there are both passenger and car ferries and the ride is only 15 min. We had bed and breakfast booked and often had dinner in town which is a lovely 15 min walk from the hotel. There was often live music and quizzes on the hotel terrace in the evening and the entertainment team was great! Would definitely come again!

Main beaches are nice and suitable for families with small children, there are only few smaller rocky spots which are difficult to approach. The breakfast offers nice selection , lunch and dinner is tasty but meats dishes are repetitive every other day - but this is still compensated by the selection. The hotel is dog friendly. 1 star deduction only for the very noisy room is you stay on ground floor.

Lots of stairs, no lifts. No basic toiletries and amenities. The phone in the room doesn’t work at all. The rooms are cheaply constructed with materials like being recycled and something like of a shipment container with a super tiny bathroom with shower partition with glass door that doesn’t even fit the bathroom size and couldn’t open widely or shut properly! Water keeps leaking out of the shower almost slipped and fell on the floor due to the overflow of water! The flooring of the room made lots of sound while moving as it’s cheap material! The handles of the doors was broken! Doors and windows are made of cheap skate plastic. Even the bed is super old and too bouncy (cheap bed and never change) and it was to the point it injured neck and had to get medication for the pain caused to the neck. No air ventilators inside the bathrooms made it lack of airflow caused headache and migraines, fever next day.. had to go and get medication from nearest pharmacy.. What a disaster! I would like to get a compensation!
