We had a wonderful stay at Bellevue Hotel, affiliated with Meliá, in Sardegna. The location is absolutely amazing, with open views that make every moment memorable. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, and the service was excellent throughout my stay. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and I particularly enjoyed spending time at the Blue Beach Bar — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The beach itself was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Overall, an exceptional experience that I would gladly recommend to anyone visiting Sardegna
The staff is kind and smiley, but you will have to report them a lot of problems that they can not manage to resolve starting from your reservation and they don't end even at the check -off. They don't handle emails, transactions, periods of stay, people that are staying, you understand for extra charges for the already booked beds months ago at the reception, at the the 1st day you pay the stay, at the last you understand that you haven't paid all... And you have to change rooms up to the moment they understand what you've paid. The hotel is fine, but you will need good earplugs because even with them is hard to sleep because of the sounds of the ventilation system in the building. For 3 nights you get used to it and you can start sleeping. For my lost clothes mixed with the sheets, I didn't mention at the checkout, I was sure that they can't cope with the unpleasant experience of the client.
Our unpleasant experience at the hotel – disappointing for a 4-star hotel We booked our room almost two months in advance, with a clear request: a balcony and a direct sea view. Instead, we were given a ground-floor room with a yard, a view of a fence and parking lot, and only a partial view of the sea. The reception staff were unfriendly and claimed that “all rooms are the same.” Although we complained several times and contacted the agency, the hotel showed no willingness to resolve the situation. After three days, they offered us another room, far up on a hill, with no option to see it in advance. When we declined, we spoke with the head of reception, who was also very unpleasant and stated that the photos on the website don’t mean the room will look like that. When we complained that there were ants and the room was dirty, she said: “Well, you’re at the seaside.” On the fourth day of our stay, we were moved to another room, also with a yard, but with a direct sea view. We were told they would notify us when the room was ready. We packed at 10 a.m. and went to the beach, but we didn’t receive a call until 3 p.m. The entire time, we had valuables from the safe with us and couldn’t relax. Throughout our stay, no one from the staff ever apologized. On the contrary – we had the impression that the staff was annoyed by our complaints. The safe didn’t work in the first or second room – both times a technician had to come. The first room’s door wouldn’t close properly and would open unless locked. The safe had instructions that didn’t match the actual device – it said “press #” which didn’t exist on that model. There were ants in the room, cleanliness was at a very low level – sockets and switches were dirty and sticky, the soap dispenser in the bathroom didn’t work and was never replaced. Even with the “Do Not Disturb” sign, cleaning staff entered the room without knocking. On the last day, one entered the room at 10:30 a.m. and pointed at the clock, saying we had to leave because “she had to clean,” even though we had until 11:00 a.m. to check out. The hotel website claims that staff speak English and German – we didn’t meet a single person who spoke German, and only the reception staff spoke English. Overall impression of the staff: unfriendly, uninterested, lacking basic professionalism. Breakfast service was stressful and unpleasant – staff moved between guests loudly and without a smile. The only compliments go to one waitress in the restaurant and the guy working at the pool – the only polite and professional employees. This hotel does not justify its price or 4-star rating in any way. We spent most of our vacation waiting for something to be resolved by people who clearly didn’t care whether it would be or not
