Perfection!! After a stressful week we booked a sneaky Sunday at bells on a whim. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such warmth! On arrival we were given a voucher for the shop to create our own hamper. We checked in and then went to the restaurant bar for the welcome drink. Everyone was so lovely. We had dinner included too and indulged in an incredible 3 course spectacular! Everything was delicious. The room was so cosy and warm with the fire. The next morning we had the pastry basket and two mains plus juices and coffee all included! I will be recommending this to everyone I know!

My husband and I recently had our wedding at Bells at Killcare, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. We stayed on-site for two nights, and every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service and attention to detail were absolutely top-tier. A special mention goes to Katrin, the wedding coordinator, who was calm, level-headed, and by our side every step of the way. She ensured everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to truly enjoy the day we had been dreaming of. The staff were exceptional, not only were they attentive with food and drinks throughout the event, but they even cheered us on during our first dance, which we had spent months rehearsing. Those little touches meant so much! The accommodation was beautiful, stylish, comfortable, and perfectly suited for all our family and friends to stay together on-site. The gardens were stunning, providing a magical backdrop for our ceremony and a relaxed space for guests to enjoy lawn games during the afternoon. There were also so many breathtaking spots for photos throughout the property, it felt like every corner held a new opportunity for a perfect shot. If you are considering Bells at Killcare for your wedding, I truly cannot recommend it highly enough. It was everything we hoped for and more, an unforgettable setting for the most special day of our lives.

Restaurant Review: A Great Meal, But a Bitter Aftertaste We recently dined at Bells restaurant, and for the most part, the experience was exceptional. The food was genuinely delicious—beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere made for a lovely evening out. However, what should have ended on a high note left us feeling a little taken advantage of. When the bill arrived, we noticed a charge of $6.50 per person for water. We were never asked if we wanted water or a specialty water service—it was simply poured into our glasses as we sat down, no mention of a charge. There was no signage, no heads-up from the server, and nothing that made us think this was a paid for service. It may seem like a small thing, but that kind of surprise charge leaves a sour taste—especially when everything else about the experience had been so positive. Transparency matters, and a great restaurant should not have to rely on hidden fees to pad the bill. Would we return? Possibly—but only after confirming up front what’s being offered, and what we’re being charged for.
