Belmondo Hotel

This hotel is perfectly located in the center of Chania’s old town. Just a heads-up: the entrance is on the first floor, above a restaurant, but it does have a sign at street level, so it’s easy to find. Though housed in a historic building, it has been thoughtfully modernized with features like powerful air conditioning and a comfortable, well-equipped bathroom. The classic room doesn’t have a city or harbor view, but it’s quiet and restful, with a small bathroom window that offers a pleasant little view as a bonus. Breakfast was a highlight: generous, fresh, and delicious. It’s served between 8 and 10 am, and guests simply call reception to have it delivered to their room. There weren’t menu options to choose from, but the offerings changed daily. It typically included eggs, fruits, yogurt, bread, pastry, and a pot of coffee. The in-room Nespresso machine was also a nice touch, perfect for a quiet coffee break. Most of all, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Chania.

Another great stay at the Belmondo Hotel. Giorgos and all the staff were super helpful and made our stay incredibly enjoyable. The room has an amazing view over the harbour and the steam room in the bathroom was the perfect wake up after breakfast in our bedroom.

The best hotel that I have ever visited. I will forever measure every hotel stay against this hotel. The room was spectacular, the staff was so friendly and the location is perfect. It was an unforgettable experience!
