This is a very packed hotel but a good one to stay in if you have a layover. The check in process was easy. We got the family room which was 2 interconnected rooms. The Tv did not work in one of them. The room was really nice and sufficient but the toilet was really small. There was no where to hang the towels when bathing. There facilities were pretty good. They have a gym which was small but quite sufficient. The buffet breakfast was busy but there was enough variety of food to keep us well fed. The location is also pretty good. It is a very short distance from runway Manila which is the walkway bridge that gets you to terminal 3 by foot. Do note that it is not a sheltered walk to the runway Manila and on a rainy day…there is really no shelter. But the hotel bellboy is happy to load your bags on their trolley and push it all the way for you to the elevator of runway Manila on the non rainy day that we were there.
The isn’t my first time here, and only reason why we decided to stay here was because of its location being close to the airport. The rooms were nice and so was the atmosphere. The location’s preem. The front desk was nice, and they even offered cheaper solutions to our concerns when we were asking for help. But I was disappointed with some of the staff services. Ordered food, but it came more or less an hour after the order without compensation! Everything arrived within 20-30 minutes, except for my food. The last time I was here, I also had this issue but for my family’s food. I let it slide because maybe it was a one-off thing. Apparently, I was mistaken. Some of the staff would whisper too much under their breaths (in Tagalog, probably thinking we can’t understand them) when we’re not even talking to them. And yes, they were off-handed, unnecessary comments about our concerns. I hope service/s would be improved next time, if we do decide to stay again here.
This is primarily an airport hotel where you can stay for a long transit from Manila airport. The staff are very well-trained and treat the clients respectfully. The amenities in the rooms are adequate for a hotel of this standard. The breakfast is very nice and has lots of choices. However, there are a few points to consider. First, the rooms and the bathroom are cramped. There is literally no space for yourself in the room. Second, your requests are not always treated or taken action upon. We requested a room with a double bed, but we're given a room with twin beds. Basically, we were forced to take this room as we had taken the place from the airport and there was no other choice for us. Overall, I did not find the place worthy of $100 per night price tag.
