Belmont House Hotel

We are just home from a very very warm weekend The belmont hotel is such a peaceful and enjoyable stay Room was very clean,the bedside fan was well used,cleaned daily,fresh towels etc..🫡 Every member of staff were absoloutely amazing,so friendly and helpful,a credit to the hotel 👏 the breakfast was superb quality,and evening meal top drawer💪 Will highly recommend ,and we will be booking in the future for sure. Well done everyone👌

Very disappointed. Called in with my family after a long day. Ordered the carbonara and it was mostly mush and was fairly inedible. Made with a mixture of fresh and what tasted like tinned mushrooms and was swimming in a heavy sauce. All the food ordered was so bland. The duck was like rubber on a woeful variety of stir fried veg. Nothing was seasoned or garnished. The place itself was nice, the bar area was nice and decor was nice. Not once did the staff ask if everything was ok not even when paying the bill. Seemed like their day was as long as ours and they just couldn’t be bothered. It was fine but we’ll definitely not be back! Have had better food and service from our local takeaway.

Lovely venue but the food was very poor. The chicken/stuffing was cold and the vegetables tasted like they were frozen, not fresh. The gravy wasn't good; more like it was made from gravy granules, awful! It was only £20, so very cheap. I'd happily pay a tenner extra for better quality. I've been to the Belmont before and the quality of the dinner was great. Not this time, unfortunately 😔
