I was very impressed with the simple yet modern layout of Belmoral. The facilities such as the gym and pool were extraordinarily clean. The cleaning staff were helpful and their upkeep of the rooms were immaculate. The receptionists were very welcoming and helpful. The levanti restaurant had amazing food and coffee along with awesome customer service. The location of Belmoral corporate suites was exceptional because it’s tucked away at the end of Palmer st yet so close to the best restaurants and pubs in Townsville and to wherever you needed to go. So basically 5 ⭐️ all round Thank you Belmoral staff
The balcony door and window let in Street noise, cars driving by can be heard. I recommend ear plugs. Tight parking but free and secured on site. The room looks new, very clean, comfortable bed, small kitchenette refrigerator, microwave, very well put together and plenty of storage. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. No elevator on site so if you can't lift your luggage up stairs, Don't stay here. Great value for the money. Wi-Fi does not work, when you try to log in it shows that it is an unsafe system, even though it does have a password. We did not log in because it kept coming up as unsafe. The check-in was very simple, and the checkout was just as easy, and the staff ladies were incredibly informative, and awesome place to stay and we would definitely stay here again. It is a spotless place. One of the cleanest hotels we've been at Across the world
The rooms are clean but very compact, and unfortunately they are not soundproof. I was travelling for business and unfortunately had to move rooms and would not stay here again. If your room is near the staircase, you'll likely hear other guests coming and going. Noise from neighboring units—especially from above—can also be quite disruptive if guests are not quiet. I’d strongly advise against booking a room with a roadside balcony, as the sound of local traffic driving past and a nearby railway line kept me awake well into the night as the port is close by and works all hours of the days and nights . Unfortunately, I would not book here again. The hotel really needs to invest in better insulation to improve the overall guest experience.
